My Sheep Hear My Voice

We should all aspire to become a sheep in God’s sheepfold, and to hear the Voice of God. When God came to the body of Christ, and opened the door for Jesus to Shepherd His sheep, He said as much speaking from His flesh and blood holy Temple, when He said that “His sheep heard His Voice and followed Him,” the great Shepherd Himself, the Lord God Almighty. He assured them, a stranger’s voice they would not follow.

Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one.” (John 10:25-30, KJV).

While Jesus disciples did not understand that it was the Lord God Almighty using Jesus’ mouth to speak those words, they nevertheless heard God’s Voice in Jesus’ Voice, and had a great desire to follow Jesus. But they just couldn’t see that it was the living God who had come from the Father using Jesus’ mouth to speak those words.

I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.” (John 6:35-38, KJV).

God came down from heaven to the earth to do the will of His Father in anointing Jesus as the Messiah and a King of the Jews by the Spirit of the Lord. While Jesus disciples could not see Him, the living God, He knew that after He would return to the Father, and send the Comforter in the Holy Spirit back to them from the Father, they would eventually understand that the Voice they heard from Jesus’ mouth was many times the Voice of God Almighty who is a Spirit.

This is that same God who chose me, only because I was called of the Father from the womb to play the role of His servant to come called Elijah, and God opened the door for me to enter His sheepfold, where His Chief Shepherd in Jesus, feeds my soul with righteousness and truth from His Bride, Christ the Holy Spirit.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.” (John 10:1-5, KJV).

God opened the door for Jesus to enter the sheepfold and to Shepherd His sheep. Even though I had heard the Voice of God all my life, through my angel Elijah and the occasional visits from the Spirit, it wasn’t until I was born again of the Spirit, when I gave my heart and soul to Jesus, did I become a sheep in the sheepfold who could hear the Voice of God in Jesus’ Voice. The Spirit now speaks to my soul in the name of Jesus, the Chief Shepherd of the sheepfold, the way She has always spoken to my soul when She came in the name of the Lord God Almighty on those occasional visits.

While speaking with the Spirit, October 28, 2020, the Spirit revealed for God:

“Those that will hear My Voice in your voice, Robert, are My sheep. And they will follow what you have to say. For My sheep hear My Voice and they follow Me. You will only be the voice of a stranger to those that know not My Voice, thus says the Lord,” revealed the Spirit. “So just know that when it is God’s will for Me to use your mouth to speak,” the Spirit continued, “it will not be My Voice, but the Voice of God using Me to use your mouth to speak. They will hear God’s Voice in your voice, Robert, only because, thus says the Lord…My Sheep Hear My Voice.”
