ELIJAH HAS COME – TO RESTORE TRUTH
What is this really about? This Elijah has come, thing? This is about God showing that He is God, and that His Father who created Him is greater than all. For it was predestined of the Father that I would be called from the womb as the one our Lord would choose to play this role.
When Jesus disciples asked Him why did the scribes say that Elijah must come first before God would restore the Kingdom to Israel, the Lord speaking from His holy Temple said concerning the coming of Elijah:
“And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come? And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.” (Matthew 17:10-12, KJV).
God, speaking from His holy Temple, acknowledged that what the scribes said was true, and that Elijah would come first and restore truth before God would restore the Kingdom, the Spirit of the Lord, to Israel, but also acknowledged that Elijah had already come in John the Baptist, and they sliced his head clean off and served it up on a platter. God also knew that Jesus as the holy Son of Man would also suffer of them.
Even though Jesus said that John was the Elijah that had already come, when John had been asked about this:
“And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No. Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself? He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.” (John 1:21:23, KJV).
John said no with a quickness when asked if he was Elijah. The reason why John said no:
“And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy, then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the Lord: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.” (Zechariah 13:3, KJV), is because John believed those words spoken by the prophet Zechariah, which God had revealed to him about 400 years before John or Jesus were born.
Both John and Jesus were right. John was anointed as the Elijah by the spirit of Elijah, before it was cut off from him, for the spirits of the prophets were cut off from Israel when God came to the body of Christ, and God anointed John as His holy messenger by the Spirit of the Lord to prepare the way before Him, for that day when He would suddenly come to His holy Temple made of flesh and blood.
What God has done cannot be undone. And I must be faithful to my calling as God’s servant to come called Elijah in this day, just as John the Baptist was faithful as His servant Elijah in that day. Just as Jesus was faithful as the holy Son of Man.
Which brings us back to my calling as God’s servant to come called Elijah. We know that the spirit of Elijah cannot come from the house of Israel: “and also I will cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.” (Zechariah 13:2, KJV), because God had revealed to His prophet Zechariah that the spirits of the prophets would be cut off from Israel when He would come to the body of Christ. So what better place than the land of the free, the home of the brave, the good old USA, for His prophet Elijah to come from?
To prove that my calling was of the Father, our heavenly Father saw a widowed man in my grandfather who was a poor nobody who lived in a rural community in the midst of nowhere that He could use to create a sperm-seed wise situation in the natural similar to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and a situation in the spiritual similar to God the Father, the living God and Jesus. Because not only did my grandfather have the name “Porter” that His Son in the living God had in the day when our Father allowed Him to lay down His life in heaven with the Father, and to pick it up here in the land of the living to walk as One with His flesh and blood in Jesus, and was the Porter who opened the door for Jesus to Shepherd His sheep, my grandfather also had a handsome teenage son in the man our Father would allow God to use to become my father.
Our Father saw a widowed woman in my grandmother Fannie, who had a beautiful teenage daughter in the woman God would use to become my mother. And He knew that if He brought my grandparents together as one in marriage under the same roof in that old small country town, back in the 40s, that not only would this bring my future mom and dad together under the same roof as step siblings, but God also arranged for them to sleep in the same bed. Read this story to understand how I came to know this.
My mom and dad had nine kids. The three boys came first, six beautiful girls after me. And just as Jacob was the last born male grandchild born from the union of Abraham and sister Sarah, even though he was a twin, he was the last male to come out of the womb, I also was the last born male grandchild born from the union of my grandparents to come out of my mother’s womb. But being the last male to come out of the womb is the reason why God chose me as His servant to come called Elijah when I was a child, and gave my soul in marriage to the angel Elijah to fulfill this prophecy.
On the spiritual side of this equation, with the similarity to God the Father, the living God and Jesus, my late grandfather would have been as if God the Father, my late dad would have been as if the living God, and my late uncle Wylie, the only son born from that union of my grandparents, would have been as if Jesus. For just as Jesus and the living God had the same Father as Their Creator, our heavenly Father, my dad and uncle Wylie had the same father as their creator, my grandfather – Mr. Porter.
To show the world how great our heavenly Father and the living God are, it was predestined of the Father that the last born male grandchild born from the seed of my grandfather would be the chosen one. And our Lord the King, One with the Father when it comes to the creation of this world and everything in it, including man, especially man, will always choose whomsoever our Father will call. And my coming as God’s servant Elijah to restore truth and to prepare the way before Him, for His return back to the earth for the last day of the latter days, the great and dreadful day of the Lord, is what this whole thing is…About.
“Happy Birthday – Aunt Laura!” (Also reveals how I discovered God arranged for my mom and dad-to-be to sleep in the same bed).
