Title: I See God in Meet The Peetes April 25, 2018
Author: Robert Porter
Gleaning from watching this reality show called Meet the Peetes, I can see the hand of God working in this family’s life. Which has inspired me to be bold when it comes to doing the will of God as called for in my life, which is to tell the world that His servant Elijah has come to restore Truth and prepare the way for His return back to the earth for the last day of the latter days, the great and dreadful day of the Lord. I’ve known this for quite some time, but watching this reality show has given me an extra boost of courage to confess. All because…“I See God in Meet The Peetes.”
The reason why I believe God is blessing this family is because they keep His commandment to love one another, which has been from the beginning of His creation in mankind and was revealed again when He was One with the Son of Man:
“These things I command you, that ye love one another.” (John 15:17, KJV).
So, by my way of thinking, it’s no surprise the show is aired on the Hallmark channel, for the Hallmark channel is all about love. I having been watching this channel for years, and I love to watch their romance movies. Even though you know how the story is going to end, but because the scripts are so well written, and the stories are so warm and romantic, I never fail to cry towards the end.
This is a blurb from Hallmark’s website about the Peetes:
Follow Holly and Rodney Peete’s hectic lives as they attempt to balance raising four kids, including one with autism, running their HollyRod charity and spending time with Holly’s 81-year-old mother Dolores, who moved in with them after retiring from her career as a talent manager. Starring Holly Robinson Peete, Rodney Peete, Dolores Robinson, Ryan Elizabeth Peete, Rodney Jackson Peete, Robinson James Peete and Roman Matthew Peete.
Series star Rodney Peete says show offers positive portrayals of African-American family, marriage. I couldn’t agree more. Whenever I watch an episode of Meet the Peetes, I can clearly see the hand of God working in their lives. For God is love. And the love that each and every member of the family exhibits to all they come in contact with, is a sign that God is a part of their lives. That’s why I love watching this unscripted reality show.
The two oldest kids are twins. RJ, male, is autistic, and his sister’s name is Ryan. God has obviously given Ryan the gift to sing, which is a wonderful spiritual gift, but the gift that he has given RJ is greater, in my opinion. For when I heard his mom say that the doctors said that “her son would never talk and live a normal life,” I saw that God had other plans. For the spiritual gift he has given RJ to talk and to be like any other kid, and now as a young adult, despite his disorder, is greater than a gift to sing. Thus, the hand of God working in their lives. All because of love.
I wish I could see God in all our lives. But I know that it’s not possible, for Satan is so good at what he does. Deceiving God’s creation in mankind to be unfaithful to Him by using our lusts and desires for things of the world, of which he is the ruler of, to keep us from keeping the commandments of God, especially His commandment to love one another and to seek His everlasting and holy Kingdom from above called Jerusalem. Jerusalem, the holy Spirit, is the gift of eternal life to all who believe in God and are willing to give their hearts (angels that are companion to our souls) and souls to Jesus.
When it comes to love, while it’s a joy to watch an unscripted reality show that’s all about love, it’s sad to see how the children of the devil are acting towards my people of color. Good folks like Candace Owens and Kanye West. West, all because he dared to say that he loved Donald Trump. Now when it comes to stealing, killing and destroying, this is a trademark of Lucifer:
“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10, KJV).
Actually, it was the Lord God Almighty who spoke those words from His holy Temple in the flesh and blood body of the Lord Jesus Christ. To warn His creation in man that the devil comes as a thief to steal our joy, to destroy our lives, and to keep us from doing God’s will which is for us to love one another. Maybe more shows like Meet the Peetes can help to bridge this gap between love and hate. And because God is love, is why… “I See God in Meet The Peetes.”
