Without Honor

Honor has been described as “something regarded as a rare opportunity and bringing pride and pleasure; a privilege.” For Jesus to be called as the Messiah was a great honor. A rare opportunity indeed. But the people did not accept the Lamb of our heavenly Father. For as far as they were concerned, He was just the son of Mary and Joseph, someone claiming to be a prophet from Nazareth. Where is all this stuff coming from? they were probably thinking. As a result, while the Son of Man walked the earth, God’s holy Prophet was left…“Without Honor.”

As a prophet of the Most High God, I can understand someone not understanding someone that has been given a spirit of prophecy, for unless you are the one that has been anointed, how can you truly understand what that person is experiencing?

“And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands? Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him. But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.” (Mark 6:2-4, KJV).

Jesus availed Himself to the Spirit to become God’s holy Prophet, the Chief Cornerstone among the prophets. A prophet can only avail themselves to the spirit, so that the spirit can reveal that which has been given to it by God to give to the prophet. As a prophet, I can only reveal the truth as revealed to me by my spirit of prophecy called Elijah, my wife from the days of my youth, and the holy Spirit of Prophecy of my Lords, the Lord God Almighty and the Lord Jesus Christ, Jerusalem. I make time to honor the presence of Elijah and Jerusalem in order to receive the wisdom of God.

These few verses demonstrates what Jesus own brethren believed when the time came for Him to show Himself to the world:

“Now the Jew’s feast of tabernacles was at hand. His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest. For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world. For neither did his brethren believe in him.” (John 7:2-5, KJV).

Jesus’ own brethren did not believe He was the Messiah, and as a result, showed Him no honor. The Spirit asked as I was obsessing over this:

“Where is all this obsession about honor coming from?” the Spirit inquired. “Is this coming from your feeling as if no man is honoring your calling? Why would you care if no man should honor you? Can they give you eternal life? Can they make it possible for you to bear fruit of the Spirit, even while you live in the land of the living? So, why do you give a fig about what some idiot devil’s child should think of you? You need to concentrate on doing the will of God, and receiving the true honor that will come when you have been faithful to God,” the Spirit tried to encourage me.

“Son, the calling that you have is a serious one,” the Spirit continued. “Just as David’s calling as God’s servant three thousand years ago was serious; just as Jesus’ calling just a thousand years later was serious and the greatest calling any generation will ever see; just as your calling as God’s servant Elijah, two thousand years after Jesus had been called, will be the greatest calling this generation will ever see, and is serious; and just as the two witnesses to come, the two that God will choose to sit on Jesus’ left hand and His right hand when He comes into His Kingdom for the millennial reign of peace, will be the greatest calling that generation will ever see, and will be serious.

“Seeing that what you have is a serious thing,” the Spirit continued, “stop caring about receiving any honor from man, but the honor that comes from God. God will honor you in the resurrection from the dead, even as you will wait as a joint-heir with Jesus to inherit the Kingdom of heaven for His millennial reign of peace, while the One you have been called to prepare the way for, the Lord God Almighty, will reign in the earth as One during the last day of the latter days, the great and dreadful day of the Lord. God wish that none should perish, and that all would come to the knowledge of the truth to be spared from the wrath to come,” the Spirit warned.

The latter days is the three days time between Jesus’ resurrection from the dead and ascension to be on high, and His return for the marriage of the Lamb. Since a godly day is a thousand years, and two days have passed already, which means only one day remains, it stands to reason that I am indeed God’s servant to come called Elijah, called to restore truth and prepare the way for our Lord’s return for the last day of the latter days, the great and dreadful day of the Lord.

The Spirit revealed:

“Don’t be so sensitive about your calling, about whether someone will believe you or not,” the Spirit insisted. “For as long as God believes that you believe, you’re good to go. But God desires obedience over any thing else in this world. And you best be obedient to your calling as His servant to come called Elijah. Restoring the truth of the prophets and the gospel of the Kingdom preached two thousands years ago by Jesus, prepares the way before our Lord.”

I guess I have been a wee-bit sensitive about my calling. For I believe I have the greatest calling this generation will ever see, yet no one seems to have an interest in hearing what I have to say as God’s servant to come called Elijah. But the Spirit had this to say concerning my concerns:

“Have you considered that it may be because you have not made every reasonable effort to tell the world who you are?” The Spirit asked. “You need to suck it up! Because God is so great, thus says Me, the Spirit of your Lords. And just know, My son, that as long as you concentrate on doing God’s will as called for in your life, God will bless you as if nobody’s business. And while some may not honor you, stop being afraid to hear what others may think of you. For at the end of the day, who cares? You should only be concerned with what God thinks of you. Have you done His will in preparing the way before Him? Have you restored Truth? These are the things you need to be concerned with. Not nonsensical things such as livingWithout Honor.”
